“Girl From The North Country” has extended its Broadway run by one week and will now run through June 19.

The show was originally playing a limited return engagement at the Belasco Theatre through June 11 after reopening on Broadway on April 29.

The production received seven Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical.

It had previously been announced that “To Kill a Mockingbird” would begin performances at the Belasco Theatre on June 1, after having closed at the Shubert Theatre in January. When “Girl From The North Country” announced its return engagement, a spokesperson for “To Kill a Mockingbird” confirmed that the show plans to reopen on Broadway, but did not provide new dates.

It was announced earlier this week that “Girl From The North Country” will launch a North American tour in fall 2023.

The Broadway production first opened on March 5, 2020, but was shut down a week later due to the pandemic. The production reopened on Oct. 13, 2021, and played through Jan. 23, 2022, closing then due to the Omicron surge.

“Girl From The North Country” is written and directed by Conor McPherson, and features the music of Bob Dylan. It is produced by Tristan Baker & Charlie Parsons for Runaway Entertainment.
